Katy Perry shared a new look to Instagram on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old Roar singer was seen in a summery halter dress as she posed in a pair of her daisy themed sandals from her very own shoe line.
‘Cover your Easter garden in daisies with The Gardener, the newest sandal now available now at @katyperrycollections,’ wrote the partner of Lord Of The Rings actor Orlando Bloom.
This is the first collection she has shared where she has been the owner of the line.
The star has now retained ownership of Katy Perry Collections, which she first launched in 2017 with Global Brands Group.
The American Idol judge wore her long raven hair down as she added lilac-tinted sunglasses and long silver earrings.
The new line features 19 styles that are mostly either floral or beach themed.
And although her personal sense of style has changed over the years, Katy wants her collection to remain fun.
The chart-topping pop star – who has Daisy, 19 months, with movie star Orlando Bloom – explained: ‘My own style has evolved since 2008 in that, for me, I still want to have fun and humor is a big part of my personality, especially when I am in the public eye.
‘I like being able to be sophisticated and elevated, while still being playful. That’s really my vibe.’
She told FootwearNews that she wanted to take over when she found out about the July 2021 bankruptcy filing of Global Brands Group.
‘I was faced with the choice of fading away into obscurity with this line that I have worked so hard on for five years and that is just kind of coming out of its infancy and finding its strengths,’ she said to FN last week.
‘Or just leveling up. I just decided to take complete ownership and level up, find great partners, develop my team and put to practice all of the education I have learned — and just be that CEO boss b***h that I want to be.’
Perry has talkedaout taking back her brand with WWD.
‘I had the opportunity to either let my brand kind of slowly fade away into nothingness, or take on the challenge and bet on myself, as I do most of the time, and just up my game and really mean what I say when I say I want to be that boss a** b****,’ she told WWD.
The 37-year-old singer also admitted she’s particularly excited to launch a spring line.
She told WWD: ‘I’m excited because [spring] is my favorite season when everything starts to come back to life and we thaw out. I am a product of the sun and I am a California girl.
‘I want to get that pedicure and I want to let my feet breathe and look cute in gingham and pastels. Anything Easter-themed is my vibe.’
