Karen and Ian Gilbert, proud parents of three little girls, have bought bright nail varnish in three different colors to ensure they can easily differentiate between their daughters. Ffion’s tiny toes are adorned with fuchsia polish, Maddison’s with mint green, and Paige’s with purple – a clever and practical way to keep track of these precious little ones.

Karen, a 33-year-old mother, shared that differentiating her children is not easy and not a fashion decision. To address this challenge, she and her partner tried using nail polish to mark their children. This solution proved to be effective in making their daily tasks such as feeding, bathing, and changing nappies more manageable. By colour coding their children, they can easily keep track of who has had what.
Karen and Ian, the company director, decided to match the initial letter of their newborn’s name with the nail polish color for easy identification. They anticipate that as their daughters grow up, they will have distinctive styles and personalities that will make it easier to distinguish them from one another.
Over the weekend, the triplets marked their first birthday with an abundance of fun-filled moments. The family residing in Pontypool, South Wales, had to ensure everything was done times three! They have gone through an impressive 120 nappies and 84 bottles of formula milk every week during the past year.
The three individuals are already contributing to their income by making appearances on TV shows such as Casualty and the family-oriented drama Stella.
